PMDG Qantas 747 on finalsTrans-Australia Aviation Group (TAAG) is a virtual airline and brings together most of the world's leading airlines together in the One home. There is no shortage of routes, aircraft and destinations to choose from. Whether you only have time for a quick short hop or a long haul, either online with VATSIM or another server or off line, the choice is up to you. At TAAG you make your own choices. We have a very friendly and helpful group of members who will make you feel welcome and be a part of a close, fun community. Primarily we replicate Australian Airlines, including complete weekly schedules of Qantas, Virgin Blue, Pacific Blue, V Australia, Jetstar, Tiger Airways, Regional Express (REX), Air North and Brindabella Airlines. We are currently operating flights around the world, with the incorporation of Air New Zealand, Virgin America, Emirates, Atlas Air, Air Pacific, British Airways and JetBlue Airlines. These airlines service flights throughout Europe, the America's and West Indies. For complete variety, we have a helicopter charter service replicating Bristow Helicopters, where flights are available anywhere around the world in rotor airframes.

To join TAAG, you will need a copy of Flight Simulator 9 (2004) FSX (10) and/or X Plane for non-Apple Mac's. Unfortunately Apple Mac's are not yet complient with VAFS. We utilise a program client named Virtual Airlines Financial System (VAFS) that tracks and records, but not limited to, all automatically uploaded PIREP's, pilot hours, passenger and cargo manifests, all flight data, including landing rates, speeds, flaps and gear increments etc, a detailed financial system incorporating pilot pay, aircraft and flight expenses as well as flight revenue, ranking structure and a flight following ACARs map, including a flight board. Although not compulsory to fly online, by joining we can advise that you will have the opportunity to reap the benefits of flying like a real world pilot, with the implementation of real world procedures and being guided by and talking with real life virtual Air Traffic Controllers. This we highly recommend. TAAG have limited rules and conditions and so much to achieve, so be sure to sign up today. TAAG is in no way affiliated with any airline.
